Vipassana Meditation Course for Executive, Business and Administration Staff

September 25 – October 6, 2024 (the first time in Poland)

At one time, kings had the most power and the greatest influence on society. Now, politicians, administrators and business people are in that position of power. Good and bad qualities percolate down from the top. Therefore, it is very important that business people live a moral and righteous life, both for their own good and for the good of others”

S. N. Goenka

What is Vipassana?

Vipassana – which means to see things as they really are – is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered by Gotama Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as The Art of Living – a universal remedy for universal ills. This non-sectarian technique aims at the total eradication of mental impurities and disturbances.

Vipassana in business and administration

S. N. Goenka, once a successful businessman himself, was uniquely qualified to teach and inspire business leaders to practice Vipassana. Since 1989, special courses were arranged under his guidance to promote a better understanding of the theory underlying Vipassana meditation. A large number of business people, administration officials, social workers, educators and other professionals now take part in these courses.

Michał Kiciński

“Meditation gives me a sense of clarity, which definitely improves the quality of my decisions. This is very important to me because a lot depends on it in life. I also like another effect of meditation – it most certainly improves my creativity. New ideas and solutions come more easily to my mind, as if something was being unlocked inside me. Being in a good mood is also important and, when I meditate, this appears almost automatically. All this means that, despite varying regularity and intensity in my meditation practice, meditation has become an integral part of my life.”

“Vipassana has become an important part of my life since my first 10-day course. The first course was a real earthquake in my life. It has allowed me to distance myself from the business madness around me. It has given me clarity of thought and a new perspective on life. Daily meditation practice, even just a short period of meditation if there is no space for a longer one, and then subsequent courses have allowed me to maintain this condition and have significantly improved the quality of my life and the life of my family.”
